Family calendar for iPhone

Your family's cozy corner for plans and play.

Playdates, camps, birthdays and your own appointments, in one warm, colour-coded calendar. Just type it the way you'd text a friend.

Coming soon to theApp Store

Free for iPhone. iOS 17 or later.

Plan it like you say it

Type (or say) "Playdate with Maya Thursday 3 to 5 at the park" and PlanNook picks out the day, time, place and which kid it's for. Check it, tap save, done. No forms, no screenshots, no sticky notes.

Find a time that works

Connect your Apple Calendar and see the best open windows for a playdate. When a friend shares theirs, PlanNook finds times that suit both families, using only "free" or "busy".

Share without oversharing

Share a calendar with grandparents, a nanny or a co-parent using a link, QR code or short code. You choose which kids and for how long, and you can revoke access anytime.

Invites and RSVPs

Send a playdate invite, see who's confirmed, and keep every plan in one place.

One colour per kid

Everyone's plans sit side by side in a calendar that's easy to read at a glance.

Camps and birthdays

Camps with dates, location, cost and a colour tag. Birthday parties with the birthday child, age and theme.

Your events too

Add your own appointments next to the kids' plans, with address search and reminders so nothing sneaks up on you.

Privacy, the Nook way

  • Smart typing runs on your iPhone. What you type isn't sent to any AI service.
  • Your family profile and calendar are stored on your device and in your own iCloud.
  • Calendars are shared only with the people you choose. Friend parents in "Find a Time" see free or busy, never your event names.
  • No ads. No tracking. No third-party analytics. We never sell your data.
  • You can delete your account and your data from inside the app.
